The Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature is taking place between 6 – 14th May and the programme has just been announced.
Cornwall’s premier literary festival will once again feature a diverse range of authors, speakers, musicians and artists, including Sir Vince Cable, Ann Widdecombe, Martin Bell OBE, Patrick Gale, Prue Leith, Mitch Tonks, Mitch Benn and John Suchet.
The festival promises a varied selection of events from a creative writing course to talks, panel discussions and musical evenings. As ever there will be a range of Daphne du Maurier events and workshops and the very successful Fowey Art Trail is back, bigger and better than before.
The festival has undergone a slight title change this year – Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature – as this better reflects what the event stands for. While the festival will continue to schedule musical evenings and entertainment, the collaboration with the associated Fowey Valley Music Festival, provides an additional classical element.
