Clare Teal and her Mini Big Band
Thursday 26th October

From swing to sublime ballads, Clare Teal’s Mini Big Band concerts are renowned across the country for their energetic exuberance. Clare Teal is the award-winning singer and BBC Radio 2 presenter who will provide an evening of toe tapping big band songs from the likes of Cole Porter, George and Ira Gershwin, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Van Morrison, Sting and more.

Girl Power: A Tribute to the Spice Girls
Monday 2nd October

Journey back to the ‘90s, when the Spice Girls were the biggest girl band of all time. Supported on stage by a superb live band and featuring stunning costumes and exciting signature choreography, this spectacular concert features favourites such as Wannabe, Spice Up Your Life, 2 Become 1, Viva Forever and many more.

Philadelphia & Motown
Tuesday 3rd October

Original Drifters member Roy G Hemmings brings together the sound of three of America’s iconic labels: Motown, the Sound of Philadelphia and Stax Atlantic, in one action-packed show. Featuring hits by The Three Degrees, Harold Melvin, The Blue Notes, Stevie Wonder and Billy Paul.

Elaine Paige in Concert
Friday 13th October

The First Lady of Musical Theatre, Elaine Paige comes to Hall For Cornwall. This very special date sees Elaine perform many of
the hits that made her a global star and some of her favourite songs are given the Paige treatment.

Michael Morpurgo’s King Arthur
Sunday 15th and Monday 16th October

A tale of magic, heroism, love and betrayal from the author of War Horse and Private Peaceful. When a small boy becomes stranded at sea, he is rescued by a mysterious old man who claims to be King Arthur Pendragon. King Arthur is a fast-moving show of adventure, physical theatre, puppetry and outstanding storytelling.

Kate Rusby
Wednesday 18th October

Kate Rusby, one of the most emotive songwriters of traditional folk, celebrates an incredible 25 years on the road. Still basking in the glow of the accolades for her 14th studio album, Life in a Paper Boat, she will continue to showcase tracks from the album alongside carefully selected much loved classics from her back catalogue.

Richard Alston Dance Company
Friday 20th and Saturday 21st Oct

Experience an avidly followed UK company with some of the world’s most talented contemporary dancers. The programme includes ‘Carnaval’ a brand new piece by Alston choreographed to Schumann. In ‘Tangent’, four couples glide through the Four Seasons of Buenos Aires by tango master Piazzolla and finally the newly revived ‘Gypsy Mixture’ sees dancers move to infectious music of Romanian and Macedonian Gypsy bands.

Think Floyd
Tuesday 17th October

Think Floyd’s brand new production for 2017 features music from all 15 Pink Floyd albums. Starting with the 1967 classic The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, through Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here, to the band’s final release in 2014, The Endless River.

Sean Kelly and the Stars of Storage Hunters
Sunday 22nd October

Sean Kelly has led a crazy life… he’s done everything from holding a top secret military clearance, serving a combat tour in Iraq to catching shoplifters as an undercover store detective in Italy. Sean will be joined on-stage by T-Money and Green Mile who will both perform their own stand-up sets and help with the auction finale of the show.

Showstopper! The Improvised Musical
Thursday 12th October

Direct from the West End and Olivier Award-winning, Showstopper! The Improvised Musical has delighted audiences across the globe with their ingenious blend of comedy, musical theatre and spontaneity. A brand new musical comedy is created from scratch at each performance as audience suggestions are transformed on the spot into an all-singing, all dancing production with
hilarious results.

Gecko: The Wedding
Friday 6th and Saturday 7th October

The internationally acclaimed physical theatre company, Gecko Theatre explores the complexities of human nature; the struggle between love and anger, creation and destruction, community and isolation in its new piece, The Wedding.

Wednesday 4th October

In this special acoustic performance, Barbara Dickson and her pianist Nick Holland explore her catalogues of songs at an intimate level. Barbara has enjoyed mainstream chart success with hits including Answer Me, Another Suitcase in Another Hall, Caravan and the million-selling number one single, I Know Him So Well.

John Lill
Monday 9th October

One of Britain’s most celebrated pianists, John Lill continues Hall For Cornwall’s International Concert Series. Hailed as the great Beethoven specialist, John Lill will perform four of his landmark piano sonatas, repertoire for which his interpretations are justly famed.

Simon Amstell: What is This?
Wednesday 11th October

Following a series of critically acclaimed, sold-out international tours, Simon Amstell begins his fifth stand up tour in the UK. What Is This? promises to be a deeply personal, funny exploration of beauty, intimacy, freedom, sex and love.
