Intimate & exclusive

A chic wedding venue in a world-class location overlooking the Camel estuary on Cornwall’s enigmatic north coast.

Looking for a truly luxurious and exclusive Cornish wedding venue? What could be more romantic than the enigmatic stretch of coastline beloved of the iconic poet, John Betjeman? Private and tucked away from the hustle and bustle, the St Enodoc Hotel is the only hotel in Rock, offering an exceptional, intimate wedding experience guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.

“The St Enodoc Hotel only hosts a handful of select weddings a year, avoiding the ‘conveyor belt’ feeling.”

The entire hotel is reserved for your wedding party only, providing you and your guests with exclusive use of the restaurant, all 20 bedrooms and full use of facilities, which include the spa, sauna, swimming pool, reception rooms, games room, lawn and terrace. What’s more, the St Enodoc Hotel only hosts a handful of select weddings a year, avoiding the ‘conveyor belt’ feeling.

The professional, friendly team, led by a dedicated wedding host, cater for every individual need, down to the very last detail, from dressing tables to overseeing final preparations. Recommended specialists from hairdressers to cake makers and florists can be arranged, ensuring that all you need to do is relax and enjoy your day.

The fabulous location overlooking the Camel estuary and beach below provides the ultimate backdrop for photos. Meanwhile, the food is as tantalising as the setting, with tailormade menus designed by Masterchef winner James Nathan, showcasing Cornwall’s finest produce. Why not request a buffet on arrival day? The ideal chance for guests to mingle and get to know each other before the main event.

While the hotel itself is not licenced for ceremonies, it’s within walking distance from two of Cornwall’s most spectacular churches: St Enodoc Church, a 12th Century church nestled in the sand dunes of Daymer Bay, and St Michael’s Church, an ancient chapel on the seawall above Porthilly Cove. Return to a glass of Camel Valley Brut on the terrace or lawn. Then, after dancing the night away, retire to the luxurious boutique bedrooms, flooded with natural light and overlooking the estuary. The day after the wedding, room service can be arranged, or a group breakfast can be held in the restaurant where guests can reminisce over a hearty Cornish fry up.

Whether local or travelling from afar, why not meet the dedicated wedding host for coffee and start to make your dreams a reality?
