Got to go to Bedruthan Steps …

Undoubtedly home to some of Cornwall’s most dramatic & rugged coastline featuring a series of towering rock stacks at the mercy of the ocean.

Contrary to popular belief the name is not derived from the 142 steep steps used to access the beach but, instead from a mythological beast called Bedruthan who is said to have used the rock stacks as stepping stones.

Although the beach is inaccessible at low tide, the coastline around the area offers numerous scenic walks & the National Trust car park nearby acts as the perfect place to explore.
