Early birds can buy direct from the town’s fish market, perfect for cooking up a fish supper on a summer’s evening. Cross the bridge which links East and West Looe and take a stroll through the winding streets of the twin towns and you will find restaurants, art galleries and local craft shops at every turn. Or get the sand between your toes and enjoy Town Beach, ideal for families with plenty of rock pools to explore.
If it’s fresh, locally caught fish that you fancy then Looe is the place to go. Although a popular seaside resort, it remains a fishing town with a fleet of small boats returning their catch to the port daily.
