Cornwall Living 2017

Got to go to Mevagissey

With a colourful history of smuggling and boat building, the south coast fishing village of Mevagissey is the perfect place to indulge in a living example of Cornish heritage. Wind your way through the picturesque working harbour to explore the many gift shops and art galleries.

This is an essential stopping point for those wishing to sample Cornwall at its most naturally beautiful and the two beaches are amongst the safest in the county, making it a must-visit for the family. There’s still plenty to do this month with Mevagissey Feast Week taking place between June 24 – 30 where you can enjoy the sound of  bands playing, children signing and watch the evening parade.
