Cornwall Living 2018

Tourism success for Camel Creek

Following the parks’ acquisition by Mr John Broome CBE in 2015, Camel Creek Adventure Park has seen over £1.5 million invested and will continue to be improved and developed alongside the construction of the UK’s first six star resort, that gained planning permission in October last year.

Will Broome, Marketing Director explained “We are thrilled to have been nominated as a finalist for the prestigious Cornwall Tourism Awards 2017! Having recently re-branded to Camel Creek and with exciting plans for both the Adventure Park and the neighbouring Resort, it’s fantastic for each and every one of our exceptional team to be recognised in this most high-profile of ways for their passion, enthusiasm and tireless hard work!”

The Cornwall Tourism awards saw a record 131 judging visits to businesses and a marathon judging panel meeting before the finalists were announced, with 26 award categories cover everything from cookery schools, glamping, hotels and cafes to museums, spas and campsites.

The winners will be presented at a prestigious ceremony on 2nd  November at the Headland Hotel, Newquay, where Camel Creek will learn whether they have won Gold, Silver or Bronze. A Winner of Winners title and special Outstanding Contribution to Tourism award will also be presented on the night.

Good luck to all involved, and well done to Camel Creek!
