Cornwall Living 2017

Budock Vean Hotel

Budock Vean is tucked away in a quiet bend of the tranquil Helford River, just six miles from the harbour town of Falmouth, and set in 65 acres of glorious gardens, woodlands and its very own golf course. A real hidden gem and a sanctuary for rest and relaxation, the hotel also has tennis courts, kayaking and boat trips along the river, so you can be as active or as relaxed as you wish on your holiday.

Hotel

Bedrooms are equipped with all the facilities you need plus a few extras to make your stay even more special like bathrobes, slippers and Elemis toiletries. The hotel’s Standard and Superior rooms have a more traditional feel, with it’s new Signature rooms having been completely refurbished with a more contemporary feel.

Spa

The team at the Natural Health Spa are known for their personal approach, making sure they understand your needs and leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated. Budock Vean’s Spa has three treatment rooms, a swimming pool, sauna and outdoor hot tub, and the team specialises in Elemis, Spiezia and Jessica products and treatments.

Golf

Originally designed by five times Open Winner, James Braid, the challenging nine-hole/18-tee golf course is set in mature parkland. Climatic conditions are so mild that the course plays exceptionally well all year round.

Food

The hotel has an AA Rosette Award and a Visit England Breakfast Award for delicious food and first class service. Enjoy fine dining in the main restaurant plus tasty lunches, dinners and afternoon tea served daily in the cocktail bar, terrace and conservatory. Whether you’re a guest or live locally, pop along and sample a dish or two for yourself – the team sources as many ingredients as possible from around Cornwall.

Holiday Homes and Cottages

Budock Vean’s five star Gold Award holiday homes are on the doorstep of the hotel. Guests can enjoy free use of the hotel’s leisure facilities, including the golf course, tennis courts, swimming pool complex as well as access to the restaurant, bars and Natural Health Spa. Each sleeps six or eight guests, in three double/twin en-suite bedrooms and also enjoys a large, open-planned lounge and luxury kitchen.

The four star cottages are more traditional and even allow dogs. Each has a private garden and comes complete with a welcome pack, Elemis toiletries and special rates on dining in the hotel.

So, if you’re contemplating a Cornish break in stunning countryside, but want to remain close to the sea and enjoy some proper Cornish luxury, get in touch with the team at Budock Vean and enjoy the escape you deserve!
