5 great places to visit in Porthleven

Whether it’s a pitstop during a walk along the South West Coast Path, or a day spent eating, shopping and just generally ‘being’ by the sea, Porthleven has, in recent years, become one of Cornwall’s premier destinations for visitors. Second only to Padstow in its culinary offering, with a wealth of independent cafés, boutiques, and stunning sea views to boot, any amount of time in Porthleven is time well spent.

Exciting craft beers

Porthleven Beer Seller

Launched in December 2021 by a craft beer lover looking to expand on the beer and cider offerings in Porthleven and the surrounding area, Martin Clues founded Porthleven Beer Seller. Showcasing a wide-range of products from independent breweries from across Cornwall, the UK and further afield, Martin’s aim is to introduce new and exciting drinks that people probably haven’t seen or tasted before. Predominantly online sales only, Martin is also hoping to become a regular trader in the Indoor Shipyard Market.
