Once an agricultural holding, it now boasts beautifully restored cottages that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary comforts.

Matthew and Vicky, the current owners, took over in 2021, transforming Old Lanwarnick into an eco-conscious haven. Thoughtful renovations have restored the main farmhouse and upgraded other cottages with new oak floors, windows and kitchens. Sustainability is key, with EV charging points and solar panels introduced to reduce the estate’s carbon footprint. Dog-friendly amenities include secure fields, an agility course, woodland walks and a heated dog wash. 

For nature lovers, the estate offers 34 acres to explore, with enhancements like a picturesque pond, orchard and tranquil gardens. Old Lanwarnick is delightful all year round. Summer brings vibrant walks and warm seas; autumn offers golden landscapes; winter is cosy by the fire, whilst spring blooms with wildflowers. Matthew and Vicky’s favourite is September, with its warm days and peaceful atmosphere.

As the estate evolves, 2025 brings exciting additions. Alpacas will soon join the landscape, offering guests unique interactions. Beekeeping will expand with new hives, supporting garden pollination and producing local honey for guests to enjoy. For adventurous visitors, three luxury glamping tents will be introduced. Nestled in a secluded field, these eco-friendly tents will feature wood burners, fridges, gas rings, a BBQ area, composting toilets and showers – blending rustic charm with sustainability.

With a personal touch, Matthew, Vicky, and their son Isaac ensure every guest feels at home. Vicky’s business acumen and Matthew’s project management expertise have elevated the estate while maintaining its historic charm.
