Gather everyone around the altar. “Set on the hillside, in what was the old duck pond (long since dried!), our wooden Chy Hos, which means ‘Duck House’, is surrounded by trees and old Cornish dry stone walls, making it a beautiful environment in which to make your vows.”

When it comes to food, Jayne tells us: “Your wedding feast is a big part of what makes your celebration unique, so we don’t have contracted caterers that you must use. Instead, choose who or whatever you want, whether it’s a hog roast or fine dining. We can also supply a bar. And, if you’re not sure what to go with, we’re happy to recommend some tried and tested local businesses. What’s more, the main farmhouse, our stunning contemporary cottages and other indoor and outdoor areas are also licensed, making them ideal for intimate wedding parties of up to 40 people.”
