The Cornish Kitchen is a modern-day delicatessen set in the heart of Falmouth, mixing locally sourced groceries, fresh produce, accompaniments, coffee, wine, beer, plant-based milks and more – all relying upon Rebecca and John’s keen curatorial taste and eye before they’re allowed space on the shelves. Nothing is stocked if they don’t love to eat and drink it themselves; everything is sampled, and if the duo doesn’t think it works in terms of quality or provenance, it simply doesn’t make it.
Hoping to bring healthy and tasty inspiration to everyday life, along with a little bit of luxury, the deli welcomes all to come in, take a seat and enjoy a dish created from the produce, whether inside or on the patio, with flaky pastries on offer for morning visitors. From freshly baked cakes, to cheeses, aged charcuterie, and even picnic hampers for a day to remember, there’s something for all tastes at The Cornish Kitchen. Come in to do your weekly shop or have a sit down with one of their lovely specialty coffee, teas, gourmet hot chocolates, or treat yourself to a tasting platter, deli sandwich, salad, soup or slice of cake whilst relaxing on the patio or inside in the comfy seating area.
And that’s not all! Their new website launched at the end of August, giving you the opportunity to order your in-store favourites online. Choose anything, select a basket size, and they’ll do the rest, putting together a hamper-style package that would be perfect for catering events, get-togethers, parties, and of course, Christmas.
