A hat trick of awards

The Story of Emily, St Ive, near Liskeard – a unique and powerful experience that blends history with cutting-edge technology – has won three top awards, rounding out a hugely successful 2025. 

The state-of-the art visitor attraction has been awarded a prestigious global award for ‘Outstanding Achievement’ in the museum sector at the international 32nd Annual Thea Awards, announced by the Themed Entertainment Association, and is the only organisation or business in the UK to be awarded an accolade in this year’s international awards.

The win came hot on the heels of scooping a Gold ‘New Tourism Business of the Year’ Award at the Cornwall Tourism Awards in November, and The Story of Emily’s architect team at Stonewood Design receiving ‘Grand Winner’ and ‘Little Gem’ Awards at the Royal Fine Commission Trust Building Beauty Awards.
