A season to remember

The Rock Gin Distillery has had a busy few months, opening three new retail shops, as well as moving its distillery!

It’s true – Angie and George, the founders of this much-loved Cornish brand, love a challenge. The first of their recent unveilings was a brand-new store in Tintagel. Opened on Friday 5th May, the sweet little shop on the main road running right through Tintagel, Fore Street, hosts the complete range of Cornish Rock Gin’s craft gins and rums, plus glassware, hampers and more. Perfect for anybody in the area exploring the legend of King Arthur, be sure to pop in and grab a bottle or two to remember your day by.

Following the opening in Tintagel, the end of May brought even more buzz and excitement as George and Angie cut the ribbon of their second – and largest – retail store in Bude. Located right in the heart of the town on Lansdown Road, again, you’ll find the complete family of craft gins and rums, plus plenty of giftware including their ‘bling’ glassware.

“As with all our retail locations,” says George, “we have a purpose-built tasting station in Bude where you can relax and enjoy samples of our entire range of 20 craft products, all whilst getting expert advice from our team. So, if you’re looking for somewhere to visit for the day (or longer!) and you’d love the combination of amazing beaches and the opportunity to try some of the most deliciously smooth craft gin and rum you’re likely to find in Cornwall, why not pop by and see us?”

This is all very impressive, but it’s not all Angie and George have been up to! Not ones to rest on their laurels, with the growing popularity of the Cornish Rock Gin brand, the decision was made to move their production facility to Wadebridge. “Located in Dunveth Business Park, just minutes from Cornwall Showground, you have the opportunity here once again to see our beautiful display of craft products,” says Angie. “With parking available right outside, if you’re in Wadebridge, or are passing through, we’d love you to come by and say hello. You may even catch a glimpse of our operations team as they meticulously hand-label each of our beautiful bottles.”
