A sense of wellbeing

Experience food for the soul and restorative relaxation at Bedruthan.

Nourishment is at the heart of wellbeing, whether that be your body or mind, and a day spent at Bedruthan provides just that. The hotel has held its commanding position on the clifftop above Mawgan Porth since 1959. You can’t fail to fall in love with the charm of this place and the beauty of the stretch of coastline it inhabits. This is a natural playground that is reflected in the hotel and its surroundings.

Bedruthan’s luxury Sensory Spa Garden is a laid-back place of calm and relaxation – a place to visit whenever you need some inner peace. The nature-inspired treatments on offer are designed to leave you feeling good in your own skin and with a wide range to choose from, including gentle massages for mothers-to-be, everyone can indulge.

The heart of the indoor spa is the giant, sea view hydropool which is surrounded by a steam room, sauna, and caldarium. There is opportunity in each to relax – warm your body in the caldarium, feel the hydro jets soothe tired muscles in the pool or take a deep breath of soothing eucalyptus steam – all the while taking in the sights of the ocean.

Step outside and you can begin an hour-long journey through Bedruthan’s Sensory Spa Garden. This is a place for opening your senses to nature. As you walk through the gate, an outdoor spa experience amongst the herbs and flowers awaits. Inspired by fire, earth, water, air and space, there are seven stages to experience, each drawing on the sights, sounds, aromas and textures of nature, before you relax around a fire pit with your feet immersed in hot, copper foot baths, sipping a warming, herbal drink or chilled glass of fizz. You’ll leave feeling your senses have been invigorated and your body detoxified.

Once mind and body have been soothed, tummies should be filled. Bedruthan’s Wild Café is a friendly and homely place serving food that is accompanied by an incredible coastal view. Here you can sample sweet pastries with a barista coffee, enjoy a light lunch or indeed a hearty Sunday one, or savour a heart-warming dinner, perfect after adventurous days.

For longer stays, you’ll find bedrooms are light, bright and contemporary, reflecting the hotelís mid-century architecture and beachside setting. Visit www.bedruthan.com for availability and seasonal offers.
