Kahuna restaurant brings exotic flavours to the table and promotes a relaxed holiday vibe.

Kahuna Restaurant & takeaway is located in the heart of Newquay. Guests are offered contemporary Pan Asian cuisine, fusing traditional Asian flavours with international and Cornish produce delivered by head chef, Ryan Mather and his team of experienced chefs and worldwide travellers.

Ryan’s wife Kelly Mather runs front of house and always boasts of her informative, friendly, happy team. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys!

The restaurant provides an intimate atmosphere on one side and on the other it features one large table for parties of up to 12 diners. Big round tables with booth style seats are a popular choice for families and high bench style seats look out of huge folding windows, letting the outdoors in on sunny Cornish evenings.

Guests are invited to relax and enjoy the holiday vibes. Reminisce about their own travelling experiences and work their way through the cocktail menu (available at weekends). Each one of the diverse cocktails is inspired by Kelly and Ryan’s global adventures. We highly recommend the mocktails. Made using seedlip’s alcohol free spirits – the seedlip sling will really fire up your tastebuds.

A detailed wine list and interesting drinks menu are also available.

Now for the takeaway service. If you can’t get a sitter or simply want to fill your belly and get horizontal at home – Kahuna also offers a takeaway service (pick up only).

Call the restaurant from 5.30pm any night of the week and experience restaurant quality food in your own home. They really don’t change much for your takeaway experience, except swapping the plates for takeaway containers. Even the garnishes are added to your dishes with care and attention to detail.
