In our last issue we met Spencer and Pete, founders of Four Seasons Home Improvements, who told us a little bit about their stunning showroom just two minutes off the A38. After an initial site visit at your home and creating a series of CAD drawings for you to visualise your new extension, Spencer explains that the next stage is a visit from one of Four Seasons’ Technical Surveyors. “Our Technical Surveyors essentially take your chosen style and begin creating the structure, basically turning your vision into a reality. Our structural engineers then check that the project meets or exceeds modern building regulations.”

Perhaps most impressive is how the team take care of absolutely everything. As we discovered last issue, the Four Seasons experience is a one-stop shop. What we didn’t realise was that this also covers taking care
of building regulations and planning permission. Impressive!

Spencer also tells us that “a lot of people have enjoyed their extensions for years but now find they’re too hot in summer and yet too cold for the majority of the year. A lot of people don’t realise they can dramatically improve the thermal efficiency of their existing conservatory by simply having a new energy efficient roof installed.”
