We ask John for his advice on updating your windows. “One thing that can make a massive difference both in terms of heat efficiency and overall look is to replace your windows. Feeling a draught is probably the most obvious warning sign as well as windows rattling when the wind picks up,” explains John. “Also,” he continues, “if you have wooden frames, when they begin to show signs of aging is probably the time to renew them and perhaps go for a more durable material like uPVC for the future so they last longer.”
