We discover more about Onda, a boutique that specialises in bringing luxurious, wearable clothing to Cornwall.

We hear more of Onda’s story from owner Charlie Polizzi who tells us: “I fell in love with St Mawes from a young age, it’s so beautiful it never ceases to amaze me and it was when I was helping my mother set up Hotel Tresanton that I realised there was an opportunity to open a women’s boutique here.” (Learn more about Hotel Tresanton

As you walk into the boutique, you’re greeted with gorgeous items hung temptingly throughout the room, with wooden beams and coastal colours, the shop is relaxing and welcoming. Charlie continues: “I’m lucky to have a very loyal customer base and always buy with my customers in mind.” On a visit to the boutique you can expect to find clothing sourced from around the world, Charlie explains: “I go to trade shows in Paris and London, I source in Spain, Italy and the US; I even have items made in India. If it feels good, we buy it! I spend a great deal of time on my collections ensuring that the brands I stock won’t be found anywhere else in the south west.”

Over the years, the team at Onda have worked hard to nurture a loyal customer base, often tailoring their collections to customers’ needs and always providing advice to help you find the perfect item. Charlie explains: “The main reason for our continued success is our great customers who are happy to experiment alongside me with styles and brands. I really feel we are part of the community and we absolutely love what we do.” It’s not surprising that Onda has become such a core part of the community considering Charlie’s expert eye for fashion, excellent customer service and dedication to sourcing beautiful clothing from around the world.
