New on-water activities at Kernow Adventure Park are set to bring fun and laughter to all who visit this year. 

As the days lengthen and we’re enjoying lighter and brighter evenings our thoughts turn to the fun that the spring and summer of 2022 will bring. If you’re packing up the car for another adventure, why not head to Kernow Adventure Park, just a short 10-minute drive from the popular seaside town of Falmouth? The team have been busy over the winter, working hard to look after and manage the flourishing wildlife and natural habitats that thrive at this granite quarry, building a seating area and installing an exciting, new attraction.

Looking out across the quarry each season and hearing the laughter and excitement from the Aqua Park, the team thought that while fun was being had, what could they offer their youngest of visitors? Being in the business of fun and memory making, there is a wonderful new attraction this year that can be enjoyed by everyone, age two and up: E-boats!

Be part of the crew from age two (accompanied by an adult over 18) or be the captain of your own ship from 12 and over, and take a leisurely cruise around the lake, navigating your way through the slalom course, to the outer edge of the quarry where you can experience the Adventure Park from a new perspective. The fact-packed information boards dotted across the course are a fun way to learn about the rich culture and heritage of Cornish quarrying. 

For thrill seekers, the Aqua Park is still waiting to get hearts pounding, the paddleboards will be ready and waiting to take out from the beach and with the crystal-clear, still water of the swim lanes, you have the perfect conditions to make this your open-water swimming year.

Stay a little longer at the park and enjoy the views from the raised, tiered seating area, bathing in the warmth of the sun and tranquillity of this hidden oasis. During the summer months and weekends there will be food trucks to help you re-fuel, or bring a picnic to enjoy before you head off on your next Cornish adventure.
