Let’s take their recent project to create lakeside lodges as an example. Starting early in 2018, this project required the business to create ten portable turnkey studios with the intention of them becoming luxury lodges at Landal Gwel an Mor Holiday Park, north Cornwall. For BWF it was an exciting process to construct these bespoke lodges; built to meet building regulations, they offered compact, high-spec living spaces that could be transported to the site already erected.
Finished both externally and internally, the lodges were delivered as an almost complete package, with just the finishing touches of furnishing and accessories left to the client once they had landed in their final location and were ready for the summer season.

Providing fantastic yet affordable spaces that arrive ready to move into, from only £40,000 for the smallest ‘acorn pod’ through to larger family sized accommodation, these buildings represent a solution for a huge variety of end users, from starter homes and luxury holiday accommodation to work spaces. Stephen explains the benefits of modular offsite construction: “The more people there are involved in any project, the more difficult it can become with trades relying on each other, and if one of them causes a delay it knocks on through the project. Meaning that the closer you get to a turnkey product the more likely it will have a more predictable end result.” That’s the beauty of offsite construction, it ensures that all aspects of the modular build are undertaken in a controlled environment, and delivers complete build solutions with minimal disruption at the site. However, if you do simply want the shell of the structure then this is also a service that BWF provide, creating the exterior but allowing you to get creative with the design of the interior and have it exactly how you want it.

Placed on screw piles or pad stones, these homes are mortgage-able, are constructed from BBA certified products and come with a build zone warranty. They can be relocated at a later date and even more impressively, have an expected life span of 60 years.
