Hertfordshire born, and having called Sussex and now Cornwall home, John McKinstry has had no shortage of inspiration for his paintings. From gentle rural fields, rolling downland, quiet Cornish harbours, and dramatic moorlands of the southwest, these landscapes have given him the opportunity to do something he can’t imagine not doing.
