Inside, we’re blown away by the bedrooms, all of which have been cleverly designed to make the most of the space available. The cabins have walk in showers or baths to indulge in, plus – and here’s the cherry on the cake – hot tubs outside for evenings under the stars. The kitchens are well equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm, and during our stay, we found that the living room is stocked with an entertainment package, including a fantastic selection of movies and TV box sets – meaning we were fully prepared for rainy afternoons in front of the fire and cosy evenings snuggled up on the sofa.

Waking up to the sound of the breeze rustling the trees outside was a wonderful feeling, and when it came to how to spend our days, we found the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project both nearby.
