Clifftop paradise
A stay at Polurrian on the Lizard is ideal for all the family.
Perfectly positioned to explore this stunning area of Cornwall, Polurrian on the Lizard is conveniently dog friendly, so no one has to be left behind.
The hotel itself has 12 acres of mature gardens, which are perfect for your four-legged friends to explore (with their owners of course!), not to mention that from the hotel grounds guests can enjoy walking the South West Coast Path leading to Mullion Cove to the south and Poldhu to the west. Right on the doorstep you’ll find Polurrian Cove, perfect for early morning walks with the pup. The cove is dog friendly, however between 30th September and Easter Sunday each year, there’s a seasonal dog ban in place between 7am and 7pm. During this time an early morning walk can be the perfect way to set you up for the day, equally a sunset walk after 7.00pm can be a truly spectacular experience.
Polurrian welcomes dogs with open arms both in the hotel and in the luxurious self-catering villas, which give guests the freedom to do what they want with the benefit of using the hotel’s facilities. There’s even a special ‘Paws Package’ which includes dog blankets, feeding bowls, treats, poo bags and a toy in your room on arrival.
The hotel location is perfectly suited to explore the amazing landscape of the Lizard peninsula and why not take a walk around Lizard Point? Located just a few miles away and the most southerly place in Britain. Then after your day’s adventures sit back and watch the Atlantic whilst enjoying a tipple from the bar or a laid back and relaxed meal in the restaurant, waggy tails are always welcome at the Polurrian!
