Coastal escapes

Our choice of Cornish coastal getaways.

Drym House, Drym

In-between the coasts, within the peaceful hamlet of Drym, equidistant from Hayle and Helston, sits Drym House; a distinguished, traditional granite-built home sleeping eight. Originally built in the 1850s, it has been tastefully renovated to exceptional standards while keeping its traditional assets. The love and attention paid to this home is evident from the moment you step in > on the ground floor there’s a large formal living room, a newly renovated open-plan kitchen/diner, as well as a naturally lit sunroom with bi-fold doors to a patio and outdoor dining space. The mid-Victorian staircase at Drym House leads to four light and airy bedrooms (three of which are en-suite) and a large family bathroom with freestanding bath. Each room has been beautifully styled with comfort and rest in mind. Set in just under an acre of land. that has been kept in impeccable condition behind its private gates, it has extensive gardens and plenty of parking for multiple cars. One of the highlights
of this property is undoubtedly the wood-fired hot tub, a blissful addition in all seasons. The dog secure gardens are a fantastic space for family games, or to relax with a bottle of something delicious after a day exploring the Cornish coast.
