Budock Vean, Mawnan Smith

These self-catering holiday homes – August Rock, Grebe and Frenchman’s Creek –  are arranged over three floors and sleep six. They are on the doorstep of the Budock Vean Hotel, and just minutes from the Helford River and six miles from Falmouth. Fox Cottage, Mylor Bridge

Fox Cottage is a beautifully furnished three-bedroom traditional Cornish cob cottage situated in the heart of the village of Mylor Bridge which is set at the head of Mylor Creek. The front door opens into the hallway and leads off into a cosy sitting room, with television and DVD, comfortable sofa and chairs, open fire,
and traditional dining room with an original Cornish range.

At the back of the cottage is a very spacious and very well-equipped kitchen/diner with an electric double oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, television, washing machine and tumble dryer, with patio doors to the side terrace. Also, on the ground floor is the family bathroom with bath, toilet and wash hand basin, while the back door leads to the patio and off-road parking for two cars.

Upstairs the master bedroom features a king-size double with a television, along with a second double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Upstairs is a shower room with a toilet and wash hand basin. Outside is a lovely front garden, and to the side of the cottage is a sheltered sunny patio with garden furniture, a lovely place for eating outside.

Pentyr, Polzeath

Set within easy reach of golden sandy beaches, fantastic surf conditions and spectacular coastal walks, Pentyr is a chic and convenient base set within the Pentire Rocks development in New Polzeath.
