Merry Mead, St Mawes

Beautifully appointed, Merry Mead is a compelling combination of style, luxury and comfort for up to eight people. Carefully designed to take full advantage of its glorious location, walls of glass afford expansive views stretching from St Mawes Harbour, right across to the iconic lighthouse at the entrance to Falmouth Harbour.

The lower ground floor features three luxurious bedroom suites bordering an indoor pool with Jacuzzi. Upstairs, the comfortable and tastefully furnished study and lounge are complemented by a vast, stylishly equipped open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, which opens out onto a huge outdoor terrace high above the harbour. A fourth bedroom can be found on the first floor.

With parking for up to three vehicles, and set in grounds of around half an acre, all carefully screened by trees and hedges, there is plenty of outside space to enjoy at Merry Mead with terraced lawns, paved terraces and decking, plus flower beds and a pathway leading down to St Mawes.

Slatewater, Polzeath    

Slatewater in Polzeath is a spectacular two-storey holiday home with stunning views of Cornwall’s north coast. To make the most of this, Slatewater benefits from reverse level accommodation. Upstairs you’ll find a beautiful open plan kitchen and dining area, with spacious living spaces flooded with light from floor-to-ceiling windows that open out onto the glass fronted terrace, perfect for enjoying a spot of locally caught fish and a glass of something chilled.

Downstairs there are four generous bedrooms, two of which have their own en suites and three with access to the downstairs terrace, which also benefits from gorgeous views over Polzeath beach and out to sea. Slatewater is an ideal base for big families or large groups of friends, sleeping eight. However for even larger gatherings, there’s also the option to rent another property, Blackwater, which connects to Slatewater by a pedestrian gate. When combined, both properties can cater for up to 12 guests, with plenty of outside storage for bikes and beach gear.

at low tide, rock pools are good for shrimping and crabbing; surf schools teach the art of surfing and the South West Coast Path wraps around the headland in both directions leading to Pentire headland to the north and Rock to the south.

Tortington House, Fowey

If a breathtaking location with stunning views is what you are after then Grade II listed Tortington House on Fowey’s prestigious Esplanade is the perfect property for you.

Fowey itself is a popular visitor destination for those with a love of all things nautical. An abundance of charming shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants ensure you have little reason to leave but if you do fancy a change of scenery, then a quick trip on the quaint passenger ferry across to Polruan will do just that.

This holiday home starts with the entrance hallway with the light and airy living room to the left and the well-equipped kitchen to the right. The separate dining room offers the most terrific views out across the water and a balcony finishes off this floor. The Haven, Perranporth    

A beautifully renovated and lovingly restored Cornish cottage, The Haven enjoys the best of both countryside and coast. There’s ample parking but you won’t need to use the car much as a short walk takes you into the centre of Perranporth, a beautiful and bustling seaside village on Cornwall’s rugged north coast, with numerous shops, bars and restaurants, and of course the magnificent beach and great surf.

Cloud Nine, Perranporth

Situated in the stunning new development, The Dunes in Perranporth, Cloud Nine is a beautiful three-storey property in an exceptional location. Sleeping eight, there’s room for the whole family. The property even allows pets so no one has to be left behind!

Enjoy dinner on the balcony with an uninterrupted vista across the vast expanse of Perranporth beach, sea and sand dunes, or sit inside on the sofas with a cup of coffee as you watch the surfers and listen to the wheel of gulls and the crash of waves.

The sands can be reached in under a minute’s stroll, where you’ll find three miles of dog-friendly beach and Perranporth’s shops, cafés and bars. Or why not try new eateries like The Summer House restaurant and café bar Alcatraz? Both literally just around the corner from Cloud Nine!
