Beautiful stays in St Ives and Flushing.
Tara, St Ives
Situated in fabulous St Ives, Tara is an individual, architect designed contemporary house in the perfect location for a large family retreat. The property has five bedrooms (plus an additional study with double pull-out sofa bed), an enclosed sun trap garden and on-site parking for two cars.
Set down a quiet, narrow lane bordering fields and just a ten-minute walk from the Tate St Ives gallery and the golden sands of Porthmeor, Tara allows guests to enjoy everything that St Ives can offer with the additional bonus of being able to get away from the crowds.
To maximise the elevated position, the living area is on the first floor where there is a spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen area, plus a feature glazed gable end opening onto a full-length balcony with contemporary corner seating, which offers views over St Ives Bay.
Head downstairs and you’ll find five bedrooms, consisting of two king size, en-suite bedrooms, two twin rooms (two single beds), and one bunk bedroom. There is also a large family bathroom with a bath.
The property has oak flooring throughout the upstairs rooms and bedrooms and real slate flooring and tiling to the hallway and bathrooms. The south facing, stone-walled garden is laid to lawn and equipped with seating and a kettle barbeque.
Suitable for large parties of 10-12 people, you will have all you need for a memorable holiday in this amazing town – galleries, restaurants, boat trips and breathtaking coastal walks, to name but a few.
Kersey Cottage, Flushing
The quaint Cornish charm and timeless serenity of Flushing village offers a welcome haven in this extremely popular part of Cornwall, with a number of local amenities on hand that make this the perfect base to begin your self-catering stay. Within walking distance is a well-stocked local shop, a quayside bistro restaurant and two family friendly pubs, both of which serve delicious local food and beer.
A regular ferry service runs from Flushing to Falmouth, where you will find a host of things to see and do and which is but a stone’s throw across the Penryn river. The sandy beaches and tourist sites of Falmouth, including the Maritime Museum, Pendennis Castle and a variety of independent shops and restaurants will keep young and old entertained for hours.
Upon returning after a day of adventure, Kersey Cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay, and boasts both versatile and high-quality accommodation across three floors, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Outside, the suntrap garden is a real bonus. In total, the cottage sleeps up to eight guests and dogs are welcome too, making it the perfect solution for a luxury escape with family or friends.
Old Saltings, St Ives

When it’s time to hit the beach, you’re just a few steps away from the white sands of Porthmeor, the home of Tate St Ives and surfing in this old fishing town. Guests of all ages can’t help but fall for the location.
