Coastal escapes September 2017

A beautiful stay in Rock.

White Star, Rock

This beautiful property, which sleeps four to five over two bedrooms, was only finished in 2016 and boasts a stylish, coastal interior. The kitchen is fully equipped, offering everything you could possibly need to cook up a storm, while the living area, with two sumptuous sofas, underfloor heating and a 4K smart TV is ideal for getting cosy, should the weather take a turn for the worst.

For sailing enthusiasts, Rock Sailing Club is just two minutes away, with the surrounding coast offering some of the finest sailing waters in the UK, while avid golfers can take to the greens of St Enodoc Golf Course, which offers some of the finest links golf in south west.

Perhaps exploring the local galleries and getting a flavour for Cornwall’s famed produce is more your thing, in which case north Cornwall is your oyster. Have lunch at Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant and pop into Quay Art gallery in Padstow, before taking the ferry back to Rock and rounding off the day with dinner for two at the incredible Restaurant Nathan Outlaw.

With private parking and a pool that’s available to book, as well as being pet friendly, there’s plenty to love about White Star, making it the perfect retreat for couples who want to explore the north Cornish coast, or a small family seeking boutique style accommodation.
