As the days grow darker, Whistlefish are working to make sure that no one feels alone, with a little gesture of kindness.
This winter, care is at the top of the Whistlefish team’s priorities. The world is looking a bit off-kilter at the moment after two long years of pandemic-induced loss and restrictions. We now face a looming recession and watch on as prices rise due to a toxic cocktail of war, damaged supply chains, worldwide material shortages and changes to international trading.
All this, on top of life’s usual stresses, can really take its toll on our mental health, and Whistlefish believe it’s more important than ever to check in on loved ones and let them know you’re there for them. This is why Whistlefish have started ‘Here For You’ – a series of mini campaigns over the next few months as we go into winter that focus on providing support to those that need it right now.
Whistlefish is a brand that knows the importance of communicating with friends and relatives, it has been at the core of their greetings card range for the past 27 years. Cards say ‘I’m thinking about you’ in a way that digital communications can’t, they sit in your home as a reminder that you aren’t alone. By providing more people with access to tools that bring positivity to their friends, relatives and colleagues, Whistlefish hopes to help many people around the country this winter to feel like someone is here for them.
Surprise free cards are appearing in randomly selected customers’ orders to give to those that need a word of support right now. Large boxes of cards are also being donated to hospices and care homes so that visitors and carers can collect a free card to spread messages of support. If you are a care facility, you can apply for one of these boxes to display in your own waiting room.
