Drawing inspiration from the Cornish coastline, the interiors combine a contemporary palette of soft neutrals with richer accent tones and darker details. At the centre of the renovation is a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen features a Schröder Premium Oak Line design in Merino Shell matt lacquer with a Cashmere interior finish, complemented by a Dekton Onirika worktop. Miele appliances and Dunavox wine fridges complete the specification, while Woodpecker Harlech White Oiled Oak flooring runs throughout the space, providing continuity across the ground floor.

The commission extended well beyond the kitchen. Iroka provided a complete interior design service, overseeing the design, supply, installation and final styling of the property. Flooring, bespoke window treatments, furniture, lighting and accessories were selected to create interiors that feel comfortable, considered and built to last.

The design team became involved during the early planning stages, working alongside PBWC Architects and Gloweth Construction to ensure the interior scheme was integrated with the wider project from the outset. This included contributing to the interior architecture, developing lighting layouts and coordinating the wiring needed for automated window dressings. Silent Gliss motorised wave curtains and Roman blinds were specified throughout, combining straightforward operation with a clean, contemporary finish. Bespoke details appear across the home, from a custom-designed fireplace to furniture created specifically for the project. Every room has been designed to relate naturally to the next, giving the house a consistent feel without sacrificing individuality.

Soft fabric window dressings introduce texture while helping to manage privacy and natural light. Materials and finishes were chosen with long-term performance in mind as well as appearance, ensuring the home remains both attractive and practical for years to come.

References to the Cornish landscape run quietly through the design in the choice of colours, natural materials and tactile finishes. The result is an interior that feels settled within its surroundings while maintaining a distinctly contemporary character.
