As spring unfurls across Cornwall, Rock Distillery has emerged with remarkable vitality, launching a collection of spirits that captures the essence of the region’s innovative spirit-making tradition. While their award-winning gins continue to delight connoisseurs, it’s their expanding rum portfolio that commands attention as warmer days approach.

The distillery’s Victory Rum stands as a thoughtful tribute to VE Day – a sophisticated dark spirit aged meticulously for five years in oak barrels. The result is a deep, full-bodied experience that glides across the palate when sipped neat, yet holds its character magnificently when incorporated into cocktails.

Their Chocolate Orange Rum represents an inspired departure from convention. Beginning with premium Caribbean white spirit, this creation transforms infusion with fresh orange zest and dark chocolate, before being mellowed with pure Cornish Spring Water. The finished product delivers a velvety texture with complementary notes that linger pleasantly on the finish.

Rock Distillery’s venture into liqueurs demonstrates equal finesse and creativity. Building upon their established Lemongino and Orangino offerings, they’ve expanded into whiskey-, vodka-, and brandy-based variations. Their brandy-based Brandysnap liqueur evokes the warmth of caramelised honeycomb and toffee, while Orange Breeze presents a vibrant harmony of sweet and bitter orange notes married to their distinctively smooth Cornish brandy.
