We catch up with Wadebridge Dental, an award-winning dental practice and one of the largest family-run practices in the south west of England.

Since we last caught up with practice owners Melissa and Andrew Taylor, Wadebridge Dental has gone from strength to strength with investments in digital dentistry, a microscope and new treatment options including Invisalign teeth straightening. There are now 10 dentists in total, offering all aspects of advanced dentistry and facial aesthetics.

Headed up by Melissa and Andrew Taylor, the experienced team provide a wide range of treatments for their own patients and accept referrals from other dentists. They have a special interest in implants, teeth straightening, smile makeovers, advanced restorative dentistry, root canal treatments, oral surgery, sedation and facial aesthetics. Three dentists are currently undertaking masters degrees in Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics and Oral Surgery and one will start an orthodontic diploma in 2020, keeping the practice firmly on top of the latest thinking and training in their field. Nurses have undergone radiography training and implant training too, and continue to advance their skills to meet demand.

Offering the latest state-of-the-art digital dentistry including CBCT and intra oral scanners, the practice is constantly on top of the latest advancements and is proud to be able to offer patients the most efficient means of treatment possible. No need for gooey impressions anymore or being referred out for scans or x rays!

The aspiration to continue to be at the forefront of dentistry advancements, both through studying, and investing in the latest technologies, means it comes as no surprise that Wadebridge Dental have won a string of prestigious awards. In 2018 the team won ‘Best Practice South West’ at the Dentistry Awards and were finalists in the Private Dentistry Awards for ‘Most Improved Practice of the Year’ and ‘Best Practice’. Not to mention, Andrew was personally commended as ‘Dentist of the Year’ at the Dental Awards 2018, an achievement largely due to his commitment to dentistry on a national and local level.

The practice is currently offering free consultations, with a dentist, for implants, teeth straightening, sedation, facial aesthetics and skincare. There is also the brilliant offer of children being seen and treated for free until the age of 18 when a parent registers. If you want to be seen after working hours they are open until 7.30pm on a Tuesday and Wednesday.
