Established in 1969, Collington & Company is an independent, family owned and run business, designing and installing energy efficient double-glazed windows and doors together with bespoke conservatories all over Cornwall. Over the last 52 years, the team have acquired a reputation for products and services of the highest quality at a price that won’t break the bank, and are delighted to announce that another member of the next generation of the family has now joined the business.
Hollis joined Lloyd and Glyn in the management team 3 years ago and the latest family member to join the business is Steve whom many people will know from his numerous years’ experience in the hospitality trade. Sons of Colin and Helen, the Directors and Owners of Collingtons, Hollis and Steve are set to continue the proud family name alongside their colleagues.
“I am thrilled to join my brother Hollis, Lloyd and Glyn in the management team at Collingtons,” says Steve. “I am very proud to be part of the Collington team, I have been very warmly welcomed into the Collingtons family by all of my colleagues who have supported me in my quest to learn everything windows. I have many years of experience in the hospitality industry which is all about exemplary customer service, which is also the corner stone of Collingtons, so I feel very comfortable in my new role, I just need to work hard on my technical detail now! Lloyd, Glyn and Hollis between them have over 35 years’ experience in the window industry so are a great source of information for me.”
Since joining the company both Steve and Hollis have completed a surveyors’ course delivered by FENSA, the government authorised scheme for windows and doors, and intend to continue to learn to ensure that Collingtons continues as a family led and managed business into the future.
