With a passion for quality that’s evident in everything they produce, it’s really no surprise that the fabulous team at Boscastle Farm Shop has just won the Gold award for ‘Best Café/Tea Room’ in Cornwall, and Silver at the South West of England Tourism Awards! Add to these Gold awards from Taste of the West, a place in TripAdvisor’s top 10 ‘best roast dinners’ in Cornwall, and placement in the finals in the Countryside Alliance Awards for the south west region, and you have a seriously impressive string of accolades! With scintillating views of the north coast cliffs, the Atlantic, and rolling countryside, the location offers visitors a truly Cornish foodie experience.

The farm shop has its own butchery onsite, stocked with local products including meat from the farm’s own pedigree red ruby cattle, which goes into their very own sought-after burgers and sausages. Head into the café and deli, open from 9am to 4pm, and you’ll also find homemade quiches, frittatas, pies, pasties, scones, desserts, lunches and cakes, as well as a daily seasonal specials board. The shop, which is open from 9am to 5pm, is crammed with local goodies, fresh produce, fish and beverages, as well as a range of gifts and treats – many of which are local – helping to make your visit truly magical. With so much to offer, it’s unsurprisingly always busy at Boscastle Farm Shop, so it’s a good idea to book a table for lunch, especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion.

If you’re feeling energetic, why not wander down to the pretty village of Boscastle, with your takeaway goodies tucked away in a hamper, or strike out along the South West Coast Path, which lies just 50 metres from the café.

Looking ahead to the rest of the year and, as well as joining forces with The Pop Up Cinema Company (www.thepopupcinemacompany.co.uk) to host Friday night open-air cinema nights, the team will also be bringing back their much-loved barbeque and hog roast events, all of which include live music and entertainment. These evenings are a fantastic way to enjoy all of the deliciousness of the farm shop as you watch the sun dip beyond the horizon.
