Kota Kai

You’ll find Kota Kai on Porthleven’s harbour head where guests can enjoy wonderful views over the famous clocktower and beyond to the ocean while they dine. Chef patron, Jude Kereama has created a welcoming, recently refurbished space where guests are invited to enjoy a unique culinary experience, with fresh local ingredients being the star of the show. The menu includes trusted favourites, alongside a tempting selection of small bites and plates. Or take a seat at the bar and enjoy a delicious cocktail from the exciting new list, created by none other than Chris Jarrett aka, the bearded barman.

Kota Kai welcomes Head Chef Ryan Venning to the kitchen this year, with a wealth of culinary experience running restaurants around Cornwall, including Porthminster Beach Café. An exciting collaboration between Ryan and Jude will bring news menus to the table for 2025. To start the new year in culinary style, Kota Kai will host a World Flavours night every Thursday, starting with flavours of Mexico on 9th January – a foodie foray not to be missed!
