Fowey Christmas Market – 2024 guide

Once more, the Fowey Christmas Market returns to spread a little joy and truly get us all in the mood for the festive season.

It is that time of year again, when we embrace the festive spirit and immerse ourselves in the wonder that is the Fowey Christmas Market. Sponsored by Shop Cornish and supported by us here at Cornwall Living, this year’s market is due to take place on the 8th, 9th and 10th of December 2023. The town itself is awash with a delightful array of shops, cafés and pubs, many of which are dog friendly, so there is no need to leave your four-legged family friend behind. This means a whole day out for the entire family, stopping for lunch and maybe even dinner to sample the local delicacies. There is parking nearby in the main carpark in Fowey, and the town mini bus is also on hand to transport visitors to outer carparks and into the town centre. With all this on offer there’s really no reason not to enjoy yourself in this quaint harbour town.

A visit from Santa

If this wasn’t enough, Santa will also be arriving by tugboat, moments before the town band Christmas parade, leading right up to the light switch on.
