Giving Hands, Changing Lives
From finance to philanthropy, Victoria Clark brings order and compassion to Cornwall.
Victoria Clark knows what it is to rebuild. Once immersed in the relentless world of high finance, where numbers dictated fate and pressure was the unrelenting tide, she now channels her energy into a different kind of transformation – one that brings structure and solace to people in need. Her work with St Petrocs is not a sideline to her business; it is an extension of the principles that have come to define her second life.
“The foundation of my work has always been empathy,” she says. “Whether I’m helping someone declutter a home or supporting St Petrocs, it’s about creating stability where there has been none.”
Victoria’s involvement with the charity is hands-on. She has collected warm clothing, toiletries and essential supplies, ensuring that those experiencing homelessness receive practical support. It is, she says, a privilege to help. “When someone is facing homelessness, the smallest acts can mean the world. A fresh set of clothes, a warm coat – it’s more than comfort, it’s dignity.”
St Petrocs, an organisation dedicated to ending homelessness in Cornwall, relies on the support of businesses like ByVictoriaClark. Her commitment extends beyond donations; she raises awareness, fosters connections and encourages others to do the same. “We cannot do this alone,” says a spokesperson from St Petrocs. “Victoria’s contributions have made a tangible impact and her passion for supporting people in need is inspiring.”
Her approach is neither grand nor self-congratulatory. It is practical, deliberate, and deeply personal. “There’s a misconception that homelessness is simply about losing a roof over your head,” Victoria explains. “It’s about losing stability, losing a sense of self. What St Petrocs offers is more than shelter – it’s a way back.”
As she continues to bring order into the lives of her clients, Victoria remains committed to a broader vision: that Cornwall can be a place where no one is left behind. “We all have something to give,” she says. “And giving, no matter how small, can change everything.”
