Global Eats

A collection of local kitchens has united to create a unique culinary collective on the north Cornish coast.

Here at Cornwall Living, we are always on the lookout for standout foodie businesses and we’re delighted to have discovered The Boathouse in Newquay. This beachside street food market and bar offers a unique spot in which to indulge in some delicious global cuisine, all prepared with the freshest local ingredients by some of Cornwall’s finest chefs.

This laid-back street food market is home to a vibrant group of independent businesses, each bringing their own flair and specialty to the table. Whether you’re craving fresh Cornish seafood, gourmet burgers, or exotic dishes from far-off lands, there’s something to tantalise your taste buds. The emphasis on locally sourced ingredients ensures that every bite is not only delicious, but also supports the community and sustainable practices.

Complementing the exciting food offerings is an artisan cocktail bar, where skilled mixologists craft unique drinks using the best Cornish spirits and ingredients. The main bar is stocked with an impressive selection of local beers, ciders and wines, making it the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the stunning harbour views.

Doors open at 9am, welcoming you to start your day with a hearty breakfast by the beach. All kitchens are then open from 12pm to 9pm, serving lunch and dinner options that cater to every taste. The bar stays open until 10pm for those all-important summer sundowners. With so much on offer, The Boathouse takes you from your breakfast, through lunch and on into dinner; it’s as perfect for a quick drink or a family day out, as it is for a romantic dinner or a catch-up with friends.

The location couldn’t be better. Imagine a sunny morning breakfast with the sound of waves lapping at the shore, a leisurely lunch with colleagues, or a relaxed dinner watching the stars twinkling over the harbour. With an exciting calendar of events running all season, there’s always something happening to add a dash of entertainment to your visit. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, The Boathouse Newquay is the place to be this summer.
