Got to Experience

An exhibition at The Jackson Foundation Gallery

The Jackson Foundation, a multi-award-winning, carbon-negative art gallery in St Just-in-Penwith, launches its Spring programme with Kurt Jackson’s latest blockbuster exhibition, Sea Flower. One of the UK’s most respected living landscape painters, Jackson explores contrasts of size and scale – the delicate fragility of flowers set against the immense power of the sea.

Housed within a vast ex-industrial building, this three-time winner of ‘Best Art Gallery in Cornwall’ is a world-class space bridging the gap between public and private art centres. Free to the public, it offers an exciting and eclectic showcase of artistic expression, making it a must-visit destination.

Exhibitions here span painting, photography, poetry, sculpture, film and installation, not only by Kurt Jackson, but also by a long list of other important and upcoming artists. The gallery aims to provide a space, open to one and all, in which to reflect on our symbolic relationship with the natural world, and the rewards to be found by taking a step back and looking around; to see the world through an artist’s eyes.

Kurt Jackson’s Sea Flower runs until August 9th at the Jackson Foundation, St Just.
