Got to visit – The Museum of Witchcraft & Magic

On our travels, we spotted Meg Merrilees – the famous gypsy witch of John Keats’ poem – perched high on Boscastle cliff, looking out across the gorse covered moorland that surrounds the Museum of Witchcraft & Magic.

“A family day out that will leave you enchanted.”

But you’ll have to head just below, to the endlessly fascinating museum itself, to find this captivating carved statue in her permanent setting, alongside thousands of folk magic objects and witchcraft related items across two floors, a temporary exhibition
(‘Poppets, Pins & Power’) and permanent displays. Don’t miss the shrine,
herb garden and Wise Woman’s Cottage. A family day out that will
leave you enchanted.
