We catch up with the Cornwall Zinc Roofing team and find out what’s new this season.

We hear from Director Ross Bland who tells us: “The traditional metal roofing market has grown in recent years and zinc is by far the most popular metal used in ‘Standing Seam’ roofing and cladding, being used since the early 1800’s. As well as providing a contemporary finish, which looks great with both new builds and older properties, correctly installed zinc can also last in excess of 100 years, as opposed to the 25 to 50 years associated with alternative systems.”
Few materials are as versatile as zinc, which is available in a range of natural and pre weathered finishes, virtually maintenance free and capable of dealing with complex designs. It’s also environmentally friendly, being fully recyclable. However, the company also recognises that customers’ preferences and budgets are individual, and therefore also specialise in other materials such as copper, steel and aluminium.
