In the spotlight, Diane Griffiths
Self-taught and hailing from the Midlands after a decade working in London, Diane moved to Newquay in 2017. Her artworks are on display in Cornish galleries and shops, as well as online.
Currently exploring how light can transform a landscape, her painting of the Newquay Texaco garage, ‘Driving Home’ won The People’s Choice Award, in The British Art Prize competition. Different from her usual Cornish landscapes, it beautifully captures a normal scene alongside a magnificent starry sky.
