After acquiring it in the autumn of 2018, the hotel has undergone a transformational renovation, reconfiguring the public spaces, fully refurbishing all bedrooms and injecting the Harbour personality with vibrant design and excellent service.

Food and drink

For those looking to sample the delights of foodie Padstow, the hotel’s Kitchen, Bar & Terrace offers casual, all-day dining, all with those enviable harbour views. The menu has been designed by John Pollard, who joined the Harbour Group having worked in renowned kitchens such as J Sheekey, Scotts of Mayfair, and the Rivington Gill. In 2009, John spearheaded the Pizza East opening in Shoreditch for the Soho House group, revolutionising the food scene in east London with simple food, high-end ingredients and perfect execution. In 2012 he took his brand of farm to fork menus to Soho House Berlin, helping to drive the food revolution in Germany. On returning to the UK he then developed Chicken Shop and Dirty Burger brands for Soho House Group, helping to roll out the concept throughout London. 

 Now at Harbour, John and his team advocate locally grown produce, farm raised, wild-caught seafood and farm assured meats, to expertly make traditional favourites and modern classics, all with a contemporary twist. You’ll find the food at Harbour Kitchen, Bar & Terrace light, seasonal and locally sourced to showcase the region’s finest flavours. The menu features many of Harbour Hotel’s signature dishes, including the Harbour Fish Pie, sensational seafood burger, tempura prawns, home-cured smoked salmon and a selection of divine desserts.

There’s an extensive drinks menu too, featuring eclectic wines, exclusive Harbour cocktails (including a selection of espresso martinis and negronis), local craft beers and a selection of locally made gins, perfect for sipping in the sunshine whilst drinking in the view.

This summer also sees the opening of the heated outdoor pool and terrace, offering light bites and a lounger drinks service – this is most certainly set to be the hotspot in Padstow for those in the know!

The hotel has 58 individually styled rooms which have all been newly refurbished. Every room comes with complimentary gin and sherry, flat-screen TVs, The White Company toiletries, a library of local information to ensure you get the most out of your stay, local artwork and of course those dreamy Harbour views (if you book your room early, that is!).
