It’s tea time!

Be sure to visit the Teacup Tearoom in Mevagissey!

With colourful bunting outside and fresh flowers or teapots with plants on the tables, Teacup Tearoom is welcoming from the moment you step inside. Since opening in spring this year, the tearoom has drawn masses of praise for its beautiful and welcoming interior, spot on cream teas and delectable cakes. Stocking a varied selection of Teapigs tea, you’re assured of an excellent brew from English breakfast tea to a wonderfully random cup of rhubarb
and ginger.

We may be small but we believe in creating a welcoming atmosphere, whether you’re on your own, with friends or with your canine companions”

We hear from owners Lis and David Brown who tell us: “We may be small but we believe in creating a welcoming atmosphere, whether you’re on your own, with friends or with your canine companions.” Always going the extra mile for customers (and their pooches), Teacup provide dog beds, treats and towels for your furry friend and accommodate specific dietary requirements, with fantastic vegan and gluten free options. Plus, the Teacup team donate their tips to St Francis Home for Animals to support dogs in need, so it’s unsurprising that the tearoom has been nominated for the Dog Friendly Awards 2018!

On Tripadvisor, the tearoom has received excellent reviews, which are testament to the brilliant service, tea and food available. Here’s a review from just one happy customer: “We are currently on holiday in St Ives and on a day trip to Mevagissey came across this fabulous tea room. From the minute we walked in we felt welcome. The place is stylish and oozes quality. It’s obvious that the owners care passionately about what they do and how they present themselves to the public. My wife and I both had a cream tea and we agreed it was the best cream tea we had ever had. I would recommend this to everyone visiting here.”

So, if you’re planning to visit the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey, then make sure to fit in a visit to Teacup too because trust us – you won’t be disappointed.
