Late spring stays in Cornwall 2022

Beautiful stays in Polperro, St Breward and Widemouth Bay.

Crabbers Rest, Polperro

The traditional fishing village of Polperro, set along the dramatic south Cornish coastline between Looe and Fowey, is steeped in maritime history. Take a stroll through its pretty, narrow, winding streets and you’ll be transported to times gone by. A small beach appears at low tide, so it’s possible to go for a paddle, and the South West Coast Path runs right through the village. A the heart of Polperro, you’ll find Crabbers Rest, a delightful three-story property that has been modernised and refurbished to provide contemporary accommodation, yet retains much of its original Cornish cottage charm.

This sleep-four, pet-friendly holiday home benefits from beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and a wood burning stove for snuggling up in front of on cooler nights or during the shoulder seasons. Its two bedrooms, one with en-suite, offer cool havens to rest weary heads after a day of exploring the local area. The open-plan living space makes for easy living with a well-equipped kitchen and the dining table with window seat is perfect for watching the world go by over breakfast. Crabbers Rest offers a truly traditional seaside escape.
