A warm, traditional Cornish welcome awaits you at Tremaine Manor and Country Cottages.

You’ll find Tremaine Manor near Looe, on the south Cornish coast. Its 12 traditional cottages, barns and shepherd’s hut, together with its stunning gardens, are located in an enchanting, secluded, private hamlet. Dating back over 400 years, Tremaine has its very own village green, stream and duck pond and is also home to some miniature horses, pygmy goats, chickens and guinea pigs – a truly unique and private world.

The holiday cottages are well equipped and include everything you could want during your stay. For entertainment each have a television and radio, while catering is a dream as the kitchens have an electric cooker, fridge, microwave and toaster – cottages for four or more also benefit from a dishwasher – and ironing facilities and hairdryers are supplied as standard. Double glazing and central heating make for cosy nights in or days when the weather is inclement.

On arrival, guests are treated to a welcome food hamper which includes a delicious bottle of wine and all the little essentials you’ll need to start your holiday. Crisp linens and fluffy towels, plus initial toiletries and logs are also provided and further supplies can be purchased from the very handy Tremaine shop. For guests with young families, cots and high chairs are available on request.

All the cottages, shepherd hut and Manor House are dog friendly so there is no need to leave your favourite four-legged friend behind. Each property provides a warm canine welcome with a comfy dog bed, bowls, some treats, a dog toy and a doggy welcome letter. There’s even a boot and dog washing area located opposite the village green.

There are lots of great outdoor activities available at Tremaine with a communal games room, mini golf, outdoor play area, boules pitch, croquet lawn, outdoor chess and a tennis court – plenty of fun for all the family. And after all that exertion, why not put your feet up and relax on the garden furniture of one of the cottage’s gardens? There are even fire pits provided! Whichever accommodation you choose at Tremaine, you’re in for a treat and the team can’t wait to welcome you.
