Multi-tasking

How to make your home multi-task for you, with help from Rozen Furniture.

As our lives become increasingly busy, we often find ourselves ‘spinning plates’, managing multiple tasks at any given time. But did you know that our homes are capable of multi-tasking too? Flexibility, innovative design and construction will make your life flow, something the experts at Rozen Furniture are well versed in helping you achieve.

“The team of designers are able to draw up adaptable solutions that are tailored to your home, allowing your home to multi-task for you”

A guest bedroom, for instance, can double as a home office. Office equipment and all of your day-to-day work can be swiftly concealed behind doors, rapidly transforming your room into the perfect guest accommodation. Another example is doubling a child’s bedroom as a play area, perfect for when little friends call by! A child-accessible storage area and a pull-out bed for sleepovers can be combined with a fold-away desk for homework and drawing, creating the perfect den for little ones.

Downstairs and into the hallway, that under-stairs cupboard can also be utilised as an office, or why not fit it with book shelves, wine storage, a ground-floor closet, or even a snug for the hound? The Rozen Furniture workshop now incorporates Botrea Stairs, so they are uniquely qualified to help you turn that often-underused space into something truly special.

At the heart of the home is, of course, the kitchen, and nowadays they are developing more and more into functional spaces. A place not only for cooking, the kitchen is also great for socialising with family and friends. With that in mind, why not consider incorporating an island with a seating area, or a dining table that is adaptable to accommodate extra seating when required? After all, forward planning is key!

Rozen can help you make the most of your home, and have been making custom furniture and interiors from their workshop on the Lizard for more than 30 years. The team of designers are able to draw up adaptable solutions that are tailored to your home, allowing your home to multi-task for you. Once you’re happy with the drawn plans and visuals, they will begin making your custom project, something they’re not only happy for you to pop in and see, but one that they actively encourage!

To explore the possibilities, be sure to pay a visit to the Rozen workshop in Ruan Minor, where you’ll be able to see examples of their beautifully made furniture and kitchens. In their Kitchen Studio, they hold an extensive library of materials for you to peruse, including granite, silestone, laminates, Italian veneers, beautiful natural wood and wood veneer samples.

The team of craftsmen and women are deservedly proud of their reputation for creating beautifully designed and made furniture and interiors, and it’s really no surprise that in 2017, they were regional winners of the ‘LABC Building Excellence Award’! So, if you would like to make plans for improving your home, be sure to give Rozen a call, or better still, pop by their stand at this year’s Cornwall Home & Garden Show and find out for yourself how they can help bring your dream home to life.
