At Hellandbridge, where the Camel River folds past old stonework, and the Camel Trail runs close by, The Forge offers a generous base for family gatherings and longer stays on the north Cornwall coast. Built for ten guests, the house carries the story of its former life in its exposed beams and thick walls, though the interiors have now been shaped with a clear eye for comfort and practicality.
The open-plan living room forms the centre of the house, with deep sofas gathered around a wood-burner and long windows drawing in the river beyond.
The kitchen is fitted out with broad worktops, solid cabinetry and a central island that provides the perfect space for any cook or aspiring chef. Meals unfold easily at the large dining table beneath the vaulted ceiling, whether it’s slow breakfasts after a walk along the trail or late suppers after days on the coast.
Four bedrooms are spread across the house, including ground-floor accommodation suited to mixed-age groups, while the tiered garden brings space for outdoor eating and afternoons beside the water. Dogs are welcome too, making The Forge the perfect retreat for all the family.

Zareba, St Ives
Perched above the sparkling waters of St Ives Bay, Zareba is a luxurious coastal retreat with breathtaking harbour views, offering the perfect escape for up to six guests. Set across three spacious floors, this elegant mid-terraced house combines comfort, style, and an unbeatable location just moments from Porthminster Beach.
