Discover St Austell Brewery’s secret summer menu!

Those in the know can enjoy a little extra with their fish and chips this summer, thanks to a new secret menu offer from St Austell Brewery. Available across the brewery’s 45 managed pubs throughout the South West until 5th September, the hidden promotion rewards guests with a complimentary pint of korev when ordering one of Britain’s favourite seaside classics.

The catch? You’ll need to know the password. Simply order fish and chips at the bar and say the phrase “Taste of the Coast” to unlock a free pint of the award-winning Cornish lager, served perfectly chilled. The initiative has been designed to add a touch of summer fun to pub visits while celebrating a pairing that has become synonymous with the Cornish coast.

“Everyone loves feeling like they’ve discovered something special, so we wanted to create a fun secret menu offer for our guests this summer,” says Gareth James, Operations Director at St Austell Brewery. “Nothing complements fish and chips better than a crisp pint of korev, and now anyone who knows the magic words can enjoy this classic pub pairing, topped off with a free beer. We’re encouraging people to share the secret with family and friends and make the most of a great value summer treat.”

The offer also supports a good cause. For every portion of fish and chips sold during the promotion 25p will be donated to Children’s Hospice South West, the St Austell Brewery Charitable Trust’s Charity of the Year. Alongside the secret menu, guests spending more than £75 in a single transaction this summer will receive a voucher giving them 20% off their next visit, redeemable within seven days.

Whether discovered through word of mouth, social media or a chance encounter at the bar, the secret menu offer is available until 5th September 2026 at participating St Austell Brewery managed pubs across the region.
